Hi all, I'm a FTM and I'm 34 + 2. As I've never done this before I have no idea what is normal and I don't like aimlessly searching the internet because you always end up on a site that scares the heck out of me! I went to the midwife yesterday, she said that baby is progressing well and was lying head down, back to my stomach and looking to be a good size. I have woken up this morning though and it feels like my stomach is really hard and she is pushing what I assume is her bum really hard outwards as well as getting lots of fluttering feeling in my lower stomach/ pelvis area. Does this sound normal?

Baby pushing against my stomach almost constantly
Hi congratulations lovely, yes this sounds normal your going to start getting quite uncomfortable now as you can imagine space inside there is limited now so it will take it toll on your body. Just take things easy. Try to do whatever makes you comfortable. Easier said than done in the last Trimester. All the best for the upcoming birth 😘💗
Sounds very normal, my babies bum felt like it was under my right rib, nearly all the time. There's not much space in there now, plus you could be having Braxton Hicks too now, which for me meant my tummy would go really hard and then soft again, it was so uncomfortable. If you're having good movement from baby then you probably don't need to worry. These last few weeks are so uncomfortable but what your midwife said sounds really good and very normal, good luck xxx
That's probably Braxton Hicks, mine felt like the baby was pushing hard outward against my tummy and it would go rigid and hard. It wasn't painful but it was a pretty strange sensation. Hope everything else is going well, not long now xxx
Im 35 weeks and suffering with the exact same! It’s very uncomfortable and I also only seem to be able to eat little and often as baby seems to be pushing! I also get fluttering in my pelvis area and my midwife said it was there little hands moving and pushing around congratulations, not long to go now! Xx
