Can implantation bleeding be heavy for first timers? Is it possible? I have been 4 days late for my periods and today I bled and I have all the symptoms?
Is it possible I am pregnant? I do not want to check to be disappointed again. (I have checked 9 times from before but not this time)

I'm not sure, don't want to bear bad news but when I had implantation bleeding my midwife said to not worry about miscarriage unless the bleeding was heavy, red/fresh, and came with pains. So I'd think it is either a period or a miscarriage, however I am no doctor, and not all bleeding means a miscarriage so... I guess the best is still to test and ask a midwife. Sorry I can't help more.
Hi Emily, I hope you’re doing okay. It can be quite frightening to see blood I know. I have just gone through a similar thing in the past 48 hours. I had spotting/ light bleeding. I called my private GP on Sunday. They asked routine questions - medical history/ do I have pain etc and advised light bleeding can be normal, but as I am 6 weeks along I can get in touch with the hospital to have an early internal scan.
NHS were amazing. They took a blood test. This showed I had high hormone levels. Then I had a scan yesterday and it showed the yolk sack in the right place. I have another scan in 2 weeks time to check the development. Support it there for you. Please speak to your GP for advice. Fingers crossed for you xxx
I would probably say it’s your period if you haven’t had a positive test.
