I would give your GP a call and see if you can get checked out.

I think it can be normal for your period to be different after birth, but if your bleeding extremely heavily I would get a check up.

Are you breastfeeding? A lot of people find they don't get their period back for a while (mine came the week after baby's first birthday) so if you are then I'd be more inclined to call the doctor as it might not be due to having your period. Good luck x

Hi. Not breast feeding.

I've just emailed them. So will see what they say. I've just never been like this. It reminds me when you given birth and the blood loss after that x

I still bled for quite a while after I gave birth. I know if I did more walking or activity then it could make me bleed again, it could possibly be your lochia still but I think if it's so heavy your going through several pads it's definitely worth getting checked over. Good luck x

I bled like that for around 7 weeks post partum, but definitely check in with your GP or Midwife just in case. My placenta took a really long time to come out post birth which I think may have bern something to do with it!
