Please can someone tell me what I'm meant to pack in a hospital bag for the birth?

Did u get given the book bump, baby and beyond at your midwife appointment? It had a checklist for both you and baby in there! I found it so useful to tick things off! I had a bag for before birth and after. The NCT website has a checklist too.

Hi for the baby you will need a couple of vests, babygrows, hats, muslins (winter items if you are due in colder months) and some nappies. For you: nipple cream, maternity pads, dressing down/pyjamas/loungewear, slippers, snacks and drinks, something to wear to leave the hospital (optional: makeup, hairbrush etc). Good luck x

Also some shower gel and towel as you have a shower normally when you have had the baby

Also if you arnt breast feeding. Buy the little bottles that come with teats

Oh and some baby blankets
