Me and my husband have a Vtech one which has a temperature sensor, night vision (which isn't the best. but we can see enough), two way talking, automatically comes on if it detects movement or sound, and it also has nursery rhymes and soothing sounds built in which we have used from the start! All of that is definitely a must for me! We spent about £130 on ours but you can go way more expensive than that but tbh it doesn't need to have anymore features than that in my opinion. I have never been interested in anything that has a baby movement sensor mat or such like for the cot as it would drive me nuts and make me so anxious! My son was 2 months prem and all the machines he was hooked up to in special care constantly beeped and it was never an issue that anything was wrong it was due to heart rate dropping to a still normal number or a disconnected wire or something!
I have one called nooie from amazon. It has 360 vision, Night vision and 2 way talking. I didn't need music as he had a mobile on his cot or temperature as he has a gro egg. It's an app on your phone rather than a seperate monitor which I preferred as it alerts you when sound of movement is heard.
It was pretty cheap, I got it after having an expensive bt one (I dropped the monitor bit in the bath 😂)
