Hello all,

Wondered if people had recommendations for best bottles for feeding please? Currently using the TT anti colic ones but wondering if there are any better? Baby is VERY farty (šŸ˜‚) and wondering if sheā€™s in any discomfort. At this stage I donā€™t think itā€™s the formula. Heard things about Dr Browns and Mam. Recs greatly appreciated.

Thanks all šŸ™

X

Hello!

Iā€™ve not had my babies yet but I have many, many nieces and nephews and theyā€™ve always used MAM or TT. Iā€™ve bought TT anti-colic bottles as well as MAM. MAM was also recommended to my sister by her midwives as the best ones to use as well šŸ’– xx

We tried loads of bottles. I hated the Dr Brown ones, so much faff, bloody massive and they leaked a lot! We settled on the Philips Avent ones and they were brilliant (just the normal ones with the air flow teat, not the colic ones with the tubes in like Dr Brown) xx

We moved from tomee tipee to the MAM anti colic ones and they were much better. I also found lots of standing up time amd ā€˜bicycle legsā€™ helped with with fatty little guy šŸ¤£ (he was defo more bottom end fatty than top end windy) maybe get one and if it helps get a few more (that what I done in case) xx

I also recommend MaM! Additional bonus is they can be sterilised in the microwave šŸ‘šŸ½ Xx

MAM Anti Colic used here. It's a bit of a faff when washing with soapy water before sterilisation as it has 6 components. Little one prefers these over Tommie Tippie as the teat nicely rests in mouth and doesn't deflate during feeding.

My daughter was in NICU for a weeks and the nurses there recommended Mam bottles and thatā€™s what we still use. She is also very farty but I think itā€™s down to other reasons rather than the bottle xx

I used Dr Brown's bottles to help with colic, did find it made a difference. We've been using Tommee Tippee very happy with them.

3 of my kids have suffered from reflux, we were advised by SALT ( speech & language therapist) to use Mam bottles, they are brilliant I wouldn't use any other bottles. I also only use Mam dummies, they are the best by far.

Thanks so much all. First night with Mam and was a great success. She fed so much easier! Weā€™ll see if it was a coincidence or not! Really appreciate the comments to everyone xx
