12 week scan ...too early

I have my 12 wk scan in monday. I had a private today as my partner cannot attend the nhs one with me. I am measuring 10w 3days so they say I should put it back a week as i need to be at least 11 weeks at the nhs scan. Its quite late to cancel and also thinking they could be a few days out...what would you do? Stick to Monday with the possibility I may have to go back in a week or so? Or cancel?

According to the nhs website you can have your scan between 8 and 14 weeks, op of their saying you're 10 who's this should be fine. If you've already got a pregnancy booklet with your midwifes details just call and check with your midwife to make sure. nhs.uk/conditions/pregnancy...

I have my scan scheduled in August and I will be towards end of 11 week. The letter I’ve got says it should be at least 11 week 3 days for 12 week scan because of NT scan. Check with midwife. Not sure if you can speak to them during weekend though. I’m sure they will schedule another Nt scan it it was too early to do it

Sometimes early scans aren't always accurate neither. They'll go off the dates of your last period rather than dates given from early scans. I had a few Early scans and was measuring early but when i went for my 12 week scan I was measuring further along. Good luck x

Hello yes I did and all went well was measuring 11 wks 1 day so I am going back next Tuesday for the downs screening test...so just a week to go until I can announce to the world! Although I have decided to tell my close friends tonight
