Private maternity clinics

Hello,

Does anyone know a good private clinic near Brighton? I am 8 weeks pregnant and we just found out that partners are not allowed during the first scan with NHS due to COVID. As this is our first baby my partner and I would like to both be present during the first scan. Thanks!

If you google private baby scans there are lots of places out there that do scans. You don't need to have private maternity care as such. You can still attend your NHS scans too and get extra private scans as well.

Lots and lots of hospitals are lifting this rule now, keep checking your hospitals Facebook page, think I read somewhere that the vast majority of NHS hospitals are lifting this rule by the 20th July unless it’s just not possible because of a tiny waiting room or the amount of women they scan per day makes it unlikely xx

Hi Love, we are due ocotober with no 1 baby too, we arent to far away we used beau baby in worthing! They had an offer on group on, they're so good! You still have a little while to go though, we missed the 12 week and 20 week scan but booked the 4d one last week, we have to go back this week for a second attempt as she was wriggling so much but the second attempt free of charge! (29 weeks now) maybe an idea if you want to save some dollar and wait a couple of months as restrictions slowly being lifted!!
