Hi, I am considering paying for a private scan when I am 32 weeks so my parents can be involved (they weren't at the routine scans at the hospital) has anyone else paid to have a private scan? I don't want to cause any unnecessary stress or harm to my baby just for the sake of my parents wanting to be present?
Thanks

Aw that’ll be nice to have your parents involved I don’t think I would harm your baby and he/she will be big to see details.
We had about 9 scans with our boy. 3 of which we paid private for. They wouldn't do it if it would harm your baby hun. Our son is completely fine and healthy. He's now 8 weeks old.
I would book it in soon as we couldn't really see much on one of our 36 week scan because there isnt much room at that stage and our son was a big baby.
We had 5 NHS scans in total due to the pregnancy being through IVF and also one private reassurance one at 10 weeks and my baby boy is now here safe and well.
My 30 and 36 week scans were very detailed so nice to see.
How far along are you now? Probably best to get it booked in case they’re busy. I couldn’t get in straight away for my private one but that might be due to being time restricted with work rather than that they were so busy...
We paid for a private scan at 16 weeks for gender and 30 weeks for 4d. I also had tons in early pregnancy and my baby is 13 weeks and is fine xx
