Surgery done and home, phew 😅 huge milestone achieved !!

As promised, a little update. I had surgery yesterday, was first on the list so no time to get nervous. Had some bloods done this morning, took an hr and 4 nurses to get one sample as they couldn't draw anything 🙉 but eventually managed to get some thank goodness. Feeling knackered now but so relieved it's over with and a huge step forwards. Onwards and upwards, next stop will be gearing myself up for that fertility journey again.... thank you to everyone for all your amazing support 😘

I’m so happy that you’ve finally had the surgery you needed. I have had issues with nurses taking blood it’s pretty grim ☹️ Wishing you a speedy recovery xxx

Thank you! Yes I am, i still check in on the fertility forum has it helped me greatly when I went through fertility treatment last time and I try and keep in touch and offer as much support as I can. I dare say i'll be posting a few updates if and when our next 'journey' begins. Fingers crossed we can start once i'm healed. Take care and thank you for your response ♥️

The fertility forum helped me so much and still does. I can't put into words how supportive everyone has been. I found it it so hard communicating to friends how hard the struggles and worries have been and to be able to chat through these issues with those who just 'get it' has got me through some difficult times. Sending love and BIG hugs ♥️
