So I’m 17 weeks pregnant and seem to already have the 3am wake up call well practiced.
In my 1st trimester I went through a phase of waking up at 3am and would struggle to get back to sleep, this lasted about 2 weeks.
Now I’m in my 2nd trimester it’s started again, the last 3 nights I’ve woken up nauseous and hungry all around 3am. I’ll have a small snack, bread and butter tends to to the trick on the nausea, but am them awake till 430/5
I’ve been told by friends that it’s ‘baby getting me ready for sleepless nights, hahaha’ (helpful!!) Or ‘baby is just becoming more active’ and most helpfully ‘ooo you don’t want to get into the pattern’ (like I can control it!!) - apologies for for 4am sarcasm 😖
Is anyone else having this?? Any advise would be appreciated.

I wake up pretty regularly at night btw pregnancy and restless toddler.
Keeping a snack next to your bed is a good idea. I would avoid using iPads/phone at night as blue light emitted is terrible for sleeping. Try go for a book instead or audiobook.
Keeping a good routine is also really important/try to avoid napping too much during the day... I know I end up in this vicious cycle!
