Baby mucus
Olbas oil should never be used on a baby under 3yrs of age, they can have a reaction to it so please don't use it.
The best thing I've found for mucus was a nasal sucker, you pop one end on babies nose and suck on the other end, it pulls out a lot of mucus.
Also calpol do a plug in with has gentle vapours that spread into the room and help clear mucus.
I'd get baby olbas oil, I usually put 2-3 drops onto a cloth square and keep nearby where my baby was sleeping or nursing, don't put it on clothes as its quite strong even the baby one. When breathing got very bad I also put on the shower and let the bathroom steam up and sit with my baby for 5-10 minutes in the steam. A health visitor also told me to put a towel or something under the mattress of the crib to raise the baby slightly upright as that helps with breathing. Hope your little one gets better soon! X
