Wife at 6 weeks after IVF transfer. Had major cramps and now bright red bleeding :(

Perhaps many husbands don’t go on here much, but I’m still clinging on to hope which is why I’m reading here. We’ve had a miscarriage before, so after a few tries of IVF, we finally got one good embryo, a boy, who was put back a few weeks ago, and the test came back positive. Just this past week my wife started experiencing cramping and brown blood. Today she experience heavy red blood. We’re seeing the doctor on Monday for a sonogram. I’m still clinging to the possibility of being a false alarm, but it’s sad because we tried so hard this year :( some of the stories I’ve read here have given me hope. My wife lost hope. We were still to continue the shots until the sonogram. Tough night :(

So sorry for your upset this week after such a long journey. It's not a great situation to be in, but I have heard of stories where women have had successful pregnancies after bleeds. After just having IVF myself and having previous miscarriage I can understand your pain..wishing you the best of luck for Monday 💙
