Do you have to wait until your baby can sit unaided to switch to the pushchair section of a travel system? My son is 7 and a half months (5 and a half corrected) and cannot yet sit unaided but I dont think he will be long! I have briefly used the pushchair (with him facing me) and the straps adjust enough to fit him in well.
Any advice welcomed.
Thank you xx

I never really used the cot bit on mine, I used the pushchair but almost straight away as my little girl preferred to sit up and look out. My buggy bit can go fairly flat though so it didn't really matter Tyler she couldn't sit up.
Thank you for your reply! Yes mine goes into a flat position as well! He's desperate to look at everything so atm we were using the car seat on the chassis but 9 times out of 10 he wanted to be carried or in his carrier. Thank you x
We switched at around 3 months. She just didn’t want to lie anymore but couldn’t sit unaided. I bought something called summer infant snuzzler from Argos as she kept slipping to one side and that was a god send x
I think the advice is 6 months 🤷♀️ However we switched about 4 1/2 as she was getting too big for the flat section (and she wasn’t a big baby either!) I think if the have head control it should be fine as you can still choose to recline slightly to provide back support x
My LG was so long that her feet began to touch the end of the carrycot part at 4 months so we switched to the pushchair then. It almost lies completely flat so that’s how we started out. She’s almost 7 months now and I’ve positioned it much more upright these days xx
I switched my babies both at about 5 months and used a rolled up Muslin next to them just because the straps were a bit big. Sitting with some help is ok. Mine hated lying down at that age so I had to move them x
I put my son in the pushchair from 3/4 months as he hated laying flat and was so nosey he loved to look around. I had him facing me and in the reclined position although my pushchair is from birth and lays completely flat I didn’t really have to buy the carrycot.
I didn’t put him in the sitting straight position until he could sit unaided which was last month at 7 months old, he is now 8 months and faces forward to see the world.
My baby would roll over in the carrycot at 3 mths so she went into pushchair she liked to sit up abit but it lay flat for sleeping
