Midwife at dating scan?

Any idea whether we will be seeing a midwife at the dating scan?

And, if yes, how long will that appointment be for?

I only saw the sonographer at my scans, no midwife. I think you'd only see your midwife of you've also got an appointment with her.

If you've just got the scan letter then you'll just have the scan.

If you look in your green book it'll show what weeks you see the midwife and you book these with her separately.

I didn’t see midwife at the scan. Next time I saw her after the initial appointment at 10 weeks was 16 weeks

I think it depends on where you live. I did see a midwife at my dating scan.
