I used to get pains like that from about 30 weeks.... I used to walk everywhere and my mv told me it was just the way baby was laying.... plus he was breech for a few weeks so that didn't help.... but if you are really worried phone mv xx

It could be ligament pain - I had this when i walked occasionally. I used to feel it across the lower part of my bump. I called the midwife triage and was told to take paracetamol and to monitor or to go in straight away if there was any bleeding. If you’re concerned, I’d give your midwife a ring just to be on the safe side.

Depending on how pregnant you are it could be a sign you are over doing it. I used to get these pains when I was doing more than I should

I'm 31 weeks pregnant had it all day and still got it now and I was in bed by 9

Does it go or lessen when you change position? That’s what mine did. It just sounds like you May have overdone it and need rest. I wouldn’t worry at all. As long as baby is moving fine and you haven’t had any bleeding I would just rest for a few days.

Midwife is usually more than happy to have a chat though

Same as above comment ☝️ I know I over do it as I go to bed achey each night. As long as you are able to get enough rest each night to let your body heal you should be ok (I wake up feeling great then by night again I'm achey and the whole cycle starts again lol!)

If the pain persists though I'd contact your midwife, I imagine they will be only too happy to check you over.

You've maybe pulled something, better to be safe than sorry.

Worth checking with your midwife and seeing if they can get you seen by a maternity physio. I see one and shes brilliant and has completely changed my back and hip pain and sciatica, I got given a serola belt too which helps when I'm on my feet alot or doing circuits. A lot of my pain was caused by a previous back injury but definitely would still recommend asking to see a physio! I'm 27 weeks and would definitely have been really really struggling before this point if it wasn't for their support!

Hope it eases soon :)
