Sharp pain and movements
Hi Hun, I'm 24 weeks too.
My boy does this to me worries me too! He will be really active for two days and then for maybe one or to days he will be allot quieter, so I do the drinking of cold water, laying on my left side and also eating something sweet, usually but not always he will kick back or move, if I'm still not happy i will get my doppler out and listen,, what I have noticed is i can hear him moving allot inside but not always strong enough for me too feel.
Are you feeling him move everyday? Untill we reach 28 weeks we will not feel baby move all the time as baby is not on a routine and still has allot of room to move, plus at this point baby still sleeps allot.
If you are not feeling him move at all during the day go to hospital and ask for a scan or get monitored
I would recommend trusting your gut. Call and speak to your midwife for reassurance. My little Squiggly is similar to Skyblueboston, active for days and then goes radio silent, couldn't seem to get her to respond. I didn't really feel daily movements until week 30 at least, she is moving but I don't always feel it. Now she moves and I definitely feel it (it's ouchy too!) but she still has days of being crazy active followed by a day of being a bit chilled out. If I don't feel her for about 3 hours I call someone and get myself checked out. She's been ok but I'm expecting her movements to slow down as I approach the last 6 weeks as space is cramped, I'm just bracing myself for her activity as it's uncomfy but welcomed!
Good luck ladies! Exciting times! x
Are u getting the pain all the time! I get pains in my groin, bikini line, and sometimes I just feel bruised and achy all over my bump lol, but if its constant I would call the midwife and ask for her advice. Are u getting braxton hicks yet?
not to stress is important.u can walk in any NHS hospital so they will check the heartbeat of your baby, but i am sure its fine
I still worry, I am the same as Kaleidoscope and Skyblueboston, my boy has been quite active on some days with really pronounced kicks seeing my tummy 'jump' and then other days I wouldn't really feel anything more than the odd flutter, but had a scan two weeks ago and all was exactly as it should be. Now that I am 31 weeks, all my apps and reading say that the 'kicks should become stronger and more energetic' yet I have actually felt the opposite they feel really quite sluggish and uncomfortable, more like twisting and turning movements pushing against me than any kicks, and some days I still don't feel anything, certainly no pattern to them, so I still worry and I have really irregular midwife appointments due to working away, but I listen on my pre-natal listening device and the heartbeat is strong and steady, so think (and hope) I just have a lazy baby who likes to sleep!
Hope all is well and the hospital midwife units are brilliant and they will check heartbeat for you, even if just to reassure you.
Cxx
