I’ve just started to have “morning sickness” but in the evenings! I’m struggling to eat anything and the thought of eating is making me throw up. What can I do?? I’m going to bed starving hungry so not sleeping then waking up feeling horrendous. This is my first baby, and I’m only 7-8 weeks. I know this is a lot of people’s problems! I can’t even have dry toast in the morning or a cracker 🥺

Morning sickness
Try to keep hydrated and snack when you can. If you're really not able to keep anything down and are being extremely sick then get in touch with your midwife and see if you need to go in for fluids as you might be dehydrated or you could have hyperemesis gravidarum if you're suffering severe vomiting

Best of Luck
I found that very slowly eating something incredibly bland helped me hold it together. I literally ate a single ready salted pringle crisp over about half an hour and then tried to sip some water. Just tiny tiny bites and sips.
Ginger biscuits get recommended a lot, but they never helped me. Worth a try though.
And if it's really uncontrollable, DO go and see your GP. And insist they take you seriously. My hyperemesis was uncontrolled for months because I wasn't listened to - it can get pretty bad if it isn't controlled at least a bit.
Hi there,
I don't really have good advise as I am in the same boat but I'll try to help.
I'm 12 weeks now and just starting to keep whatever I eat down. Little at a time.
I have absolutely no cravings, only aversions to pretty much anything except pasta and bread. My husband said yesterday to me "can you try fruits at least."
My fave fruits have turned into my enemies. Can't look at them.
This past week I've won over milk and yogurt...so taking it slow and eating small tiny portions.
Try eating before the nausea period sets in...mine is all day except at night.
I eat small portion before bed and first thing in the morning. Nausea starts anywhere from 9am till 9pm ish. During nausea and vomit hours I eat dry crackers, dry bread, dry fruits and just fluids... when it comes back up I wait about an hour and drink fluids.
I hope it gets better soon. Sending love
