Hi I found this NHS website really helpful nhs.uk/conditions/pregnancy...
Congratulations and glad I’m not the only one!! I’m 6 weeks with my first and I still can’t believe I’m pregnant! I have no idea what to do etc, what to expect. I feel some women are born into it and know exactly from the moment they conceive but that’s not me!! I second the NHS website and also start 4 life.
Good luck with your pregnancy and I’m here, totally clueless with you too!! xx
I feel exactly the same I’ve been on the NHS site and I use the start4life. I just don’t know how it should feel really. I’m like you I can’t believe I’m pregnant we weren’t trying that hard tbh xx
Congrats! I’ve found whattoexpect.com super useful.
It’s really fun to follow week by week and explains baby development, side effects, etc
Lots of apps that u can use too. I like pregnancy plus and baby centre. This takes u through day by day n week by week. I’ve been using it since the beginning n now26 weeks. I’m at ftm too. It is all so new but also so amazing as everything progresses. It fab ☺️
Aww congratulations to you thanks for the tips xx
I remember this feeling so well!! Congratulations! It be honest I would just say don’t put too much pressure on yourself. Other than the obvious there’s not too much you’re meant to be doing. I got my partner the pregnancy for men book which he really enjoyed reading and basically told me what I was meant to be doing from that haha. We also did the NCT classes later on which we found really useful. Try remember to just enjoy yourself and stay happy x
Congratulations and best of luck. I was a bit unsure too. There are lots of useful apps! Ovia, baby centre, baby buddy, etc. Just search pregnancy apps xx
Thank you xx
I found thebump website good, tells you info snippets for each week of pregnancy. It was nice reading about it all and also getting a sneak peek to the next week or 2
Congratulations! X
Thank you xx
I'm in the same boat, feel totally clueless, as to what we are going to do with this little bundle once it comes into the world!! But speaking to friends has really helped me, as they have been able to offer good advice. I am a bit further on than you (30 weeks) and start antenatal next week so hoping that will give us a good insight, plus undertaking hypnobirthing course due to my anxiety about giving birth. Also just trying to prepare for babys arrival, ticking things off as I go is helping as I feel I'm getting organised.
I use the bounty app which is fab. If you download it you can also collect a free 'mum to be' pack from Asda. It will all fall into place I am sure. Good luck 💕
My friend is a hypnobirth specialist she swears by it so good for you girl thank you for the advice and good luck xxx
