It won't necessarily happen like that, I had a show 2 weeks before I actually went into labour 🙄 the best I can suggest is keep active- either way there's not much longer to wait. Good luck xx

With my second baby, born last August I had show starting on Sat morning and no pain for whole day and following night. Sunday morning I still were all ok and around midday I’ve started to feel uncomfortable. The pains started from the back and steadily increased leading to my waters being broken at 9.30pm on Sunday with my son being born at 1.40am Mond morning.

So counting from the moment of having show, my baby born around 40hrs later😀 but I guess this might be different for someone else...

All the best to you and wishing you safe and easy labour xxx

I remember mine was a Thursday night but after a sweep. Waters didn't break until the Monday morning and I was induced but labour still never started and baby was eventually born via c-section. Everyone's so different, but it can't be much longer now - although these last days seem endless!!! Hope it all goes smoothly xxx

Over 2 weeks and during this time had pains every few days but none were actual full on contractions eventually had to have a sweep at 40w1d and gave birth day later. Even if I lost my show so early my water did not broke until I was almost fully diluted (I was already in birthing pool when my fleeter finally broke). Good luck, hopefully no long for you !
