Fibroids in Pregnancy

Is there anyone who’s ever had a pregnancy with uterine fibroids? If so, was it painful? How did you manage the pain? What was the method of delivery?

Any advice would be helpful.

Hey, I am currently 20 weeks pregnant with 2 fibroids which are quite large. They seemed to have develop when I had IVF. Touch wood I haven’t had any pain from them but I have to have scans every 3 weeks to make sure there not hindering baby’s growth xx the midwife said sometimes they actually shrink in the 2nd/3rd trimester x

I think dependent upon where they are and as long as they are not blocking the birth canal then they have said i can have a vaginal delivery x

Hey! Thanks for your reply. I’m 13 weeks 6 days along and having some terrible pains. I was told that they are believed to be the cause.

It’s easier said than done isn’t it 🙈🙈 but I’m sure they will keep a close eye on you. Awh well I hope it eases for you soon. Maybe speak to your GP about some short term pain relief. X
