Baby’s poop is orange and liquidy

Hi ladies

My LB is 7w old now and last week has no poop during 4 days all of a sudden. I’m breastfeeding exclusively and so far he had poo after each feed and yellow normal ...which is every 2h as he’s tiny premature.🥰

So on the 5th day after wee only, lots of orange liquid poop once per day! And very smelly winds lol bless him !

Yesterday we had the 6-8 weeks check at GP and told him about it... he said keep an eye and if it doesn’t change come back. He’s not worried a lot since baby is feeding well, correctly and as usual...

Has anyone experienced this with their little ones please?

Not experienced myself but woukd keep an eye on it so hopefully will go back to normal soon so long as baby is happy and still feeding xxx

I haven't ever seen orange poop from my little one but it is perfectly normal for a breastfed baby to go for days without pooping then do a huge one. Usually when you're out and about with no spare clothes in my experience!

As for the orange, do you think you've eaten something yourself that has caused it? Can't think what though! I'm sure it's probably fine.

Well... today’s poop was normal yellow and not only liquidy 😥 pfiouuu

The only thing new was that I had a terrible desire to drink orange juice or eat oranges ... so I did but maybe A lot.. or too much. Otherwise I don’t see anything else... I stopped a bit so I think that might be the reason... as I always eat very different as much as I can since pregnancy so nothing really specific and unusual... a part from this craziness about orange juice..

Second day and second normal poop yeah 😁 ! Even twice today... all back to normal then

Yes my LG went for a time of pooping every 4 days like clockwork. Keep an eye on other potential symptoms but unless he’s unhappy it’s possibly a one off. It does happen
