Leaking nipples 21 weeks

I am currently 21 weeks pregnant in high risk pregnancy and my nipples have started forming milk already... is this something I should be worried about? Is my body preparing for labour?

Nothing to worry about. But perhaps invest in some reusable bamboo breast pads to avoid any embarrassing wardrobe malfunctions!

It happened to a friend of mine and she had such an easy time breastfeeding as she had loads of milk. I on the other hand had to take supplements and pump all the time to get my milk supply up!

I am the same - started producing colostrum very early during my first pregnancy and also with current one : 23w pregnant and been washing it off my nipples for few weeks. I overproduced big time with my first and I hope that this time I won't as I will have also a toddler this time at home and won't have so much time for extra pumping session and sterelising equipment...

My boy was born naturally at 39+4 : so don't worry about the early labour. The indicator of early labour could be the cervix thickness (and mine is super thick- out of chart) Best of luck!

Don’t worry about it, though wear pads. I stared producing colostrum at about 25 weeks. Woke up a few times soaked in it
