Abdominal pain in 2nd trimester

Hello! Im a bit concerned as J just entered 2nd trimester (now 14 weeks 2 days) and from the beginning I observe weird things going on with me. On Tue and Wed I had severe headache but it went away after 2 days, now I started having bottom abdominal pains, yesterday evening it started, felt like sharp pain. I woke up today at 5 am and the pain changed for like I was stabbed by a hundreds little needles in one point. Then sometimes is dull all around my bottom belly. Not sure if I should be concerned and if the doctors will be able to help at all :/ I can add that I still feel nauseous and very tired :/ Has anybody experienced similar issues?

I used to get sharp pains in my bottom sonetimes! I had it while I was in the car with my mum once and I literally had to lift myself off the seat. My mum said it was normal.

Now you're in your second trimester you'll start to have growing pains n round ligament pain but if you're concerned Hun then go to your GP. They won't judge you, after all it's you having pains and you're carrying a baby.

Hope all is well xx

I haven't had the pains your talking about but I've had cramping like every day since I reached 14 weeks. It got quite bad that I went to A+E thankfully all is well and baby is doing well too.

They don't know what is causing it but said it might just be growing pains.

I also think it's my placenta moving coz at 12 weeks my placenta was anterior low but at 17 weeks my placenta is now anterior high.

If your pain is of major concern go to hospital or call your midwife no matter how many times you have to do that, they won't judge or brush off your concerns.

I've gone to hospital 5 times coz of cramping pains and I've had 7 scans because of it reassuring me that everything and baby is ok.

For me I'd rather go to hospital 10 times (and feel like the girl who cried wolf) then to sit at home worrying which me worrying could potentially cause more harm and then to go for routine check up and find out something is wrong.

Especially as this is my 7th pregnancy but will be first baby I'm cautious about anything and everything.

Thank you for all your responses. Ive seen GP and he said that most likely it is ligaments stretching and body adjusting and he hasn't seen any issues so I think I just need to live with that for a while. It is my first child so Im a bit worried.
