Looking for some reccomnedations on prams. Ideally a travel system one and one with extendable handles as I’m 5ft 4 and my partner is 6ft so we need one we’re both comfortable pushing.
Any tips on what ones to look at greatly appreciated!!
Thanks

We got the silver cross Chelsea wayfarer and we love it. It’s for extendable handle as well. The only annoying thing is when using the carry cot when baby is little it’s hard to get things into the basket underneath but now I use the other bit it’s absolutely fine xx
I saw one in smyths called panorama it’s light grey or charcoal and chrome the carry cot isn’t separate so pushes up into pushchair position when baby is older so don’t need to store it when not in use. Extendable handle as my blokes taller than me good size basket and comes with baby carrier. You do have to take the seat off when folding and there’s no isofix base if you wanted that. I went to see it as I like to try in person can’t tell off pictures was nice look more expensive than it is.
You know I have my old pushchair from 2006 lol it was the best travel system umbrella fold only thing carry cot is in the lost been there for 10 years seems a waste that’s why I’d buy one that pushes up now.
I had a bugaboo with my daughter and loved it, we used it right until she was nearly 2, so we just ordered another one for this baby, its got a car seat and adapters to fit the car seat on to the frame, think the website is called baby planet, it was on offer too at £759 but depends how much you want to spend xxxx
If you don’t want a plain black, grey etc one then I’d recommend a cosatto travel system. We have the wow (4 wheel one). It comes with a flat carrycot then moves into a normal seat. You can also get the car seat, Isofix and adapters to put it straight onto the chassis. It also has an adjustable height handle, I’m 5ft 4 and hubby is just over 6ft too. It’s mid priced compared to those on the market but really well built and it comes in a range of patterns. They also have regular bundle offers so keep an eye out. I’d recommend going somewhere you can try and have a look around as my husband started looking at other systems when we went shopping (as he didn’t realise they could be so expensive and thought I’d gone nuts) and tried the handle of another one which rattled terribly and then the sales assistant pointed out it was twice the price of the one we were looking at he realised I had actually been sensible 😂 He too didn’t want a plain one either, but each to their own, colourful patterns aren’t for everyone (and they do seem to stimulate the baby when out and about 😂) Enjoy your pram shopping xxx
We have an uppababy Cruz, chosen because it’s really easy to put up and down and the carrycot (sold separately) is suitable for overnight sleeping. The handle is extendable. We got it much cheaper by finding an online retailer selling last year’s model.
Having said that I highly recommend doing the free John Lewis consultation if you have a store near you- loads of helpful advice, prams to try and no obligation to buy.
Maclaren are my favourite brand. I have a stroller now my little one is older and it's just fantastic. I'm not sure what their options are for newborns though but if you want a lightweight foldable one in the future when your baby is older then Maclaren all the way (I am constantly telling my hubby how good at it is... I think Im a bit obsessed!) 😂
Silver cross pioneer it's like the wayfarer but bigger basket and multi terrain extendable handle carrycot can be used for over night sleeping trusted brand very good prams xxx
Iv only just caught up on your daughters arrival she's an absolute stunner huge congratulations hun. Sorry for late reply got so much going on still. Xxxx
Not enjoying him as much as I'd like things are still going on contionous pain got a hernia and there's fluid behind one of my scars too much to go into but hopefully one day I'll get there back with surgeon's next month xxxx
We have a silver cross pioneer. It’s a great sturdy pram, like others have said you can adjust the handles on it. The only downside is I find it big and bulky. Lo is 9 months and I want to buy something more lightweight.
Love my silver cross pioneer, my LO is just over 2 and he’s a tall lad it’s still fitting him well! We have bought a more lightweight weight one for travelling though. X
We have a silver cross pioneer and love it. We had a chicco travel system (that’s no longer sold) with our first child 6 years ago and as soon as we put the silver cross pioneer together and started using we realised how rubbish the chicco travel system was lol
I literally just bought the silvercross pioneer as the Mothercare near us is closing down so had lots of good deals as needed to get rid of the stock! Might be worth checking if there’s any closing near you as I know a few are closing and they had lots of different proms/ car sets reduced! xx
I just bought the silver cross pioneer and absolutely love it! It’s so easy to take down and put up, has extendable handles and works as a travel system. The adapters it comes with only fit the silver cross car seat, but you can buy adapters for £30 to fit maxi cosi and other brand car seats - that’s what I did!
Silver cross pioneer expedition (special addition) 3 in one travel system is amazing. You pay for the quality really. Handles are adjustable and so easy to assemble and disassemble. Any travel system by silver cross will give you the peace of mind that your baby is safe. As pebbles said it comes with adapters too! I bought an isofix with it which is so much easier to transport little one and safer! X
I had an urban with our daughter but you can buy different colour packs to change good seat carry cor and everything lasted till she just needed a stroller for shopping trips ect
We got full travel system, change bag, cup holder, rain cover and mosquito net cover for £550. The brand is Venicci. Our son is now 10 months old and it's been very reliable so far! They have different colour materials and black or white frame to chose from x
