I'm about 9/10 weeks waiting for my dating scan to come through but I have a noticeable bump already...either very very bloated or I'm further gone than I think...anyone else have this?? 🤔

I have seen something on this earlier. I think maybe on the Facebook group. Someone suggested that chewing gum for 30 minutes can help. Hope it works xx

Ok thank you. I will try that. It def feels like bloating. I have just been reading your post. Are you ok now?

I am for now. Nothing like a good freak out to start the week! All back to normal with no more discoloured discharge even when using the applicator for the pessary. So reassuring. Thank goodness. Although I don't think I will feel actually like this is all real until the scan on Saturday.

Let me know if the gum works. And if there is something that can be done about the flatulence! He he xx

I will try the gum see how I get on. I'm convinced I'm further in than the dates calculate but will see..in waiting for my scan date to come through. I have done nothing but panic too but I think it's all natural. We will rock this..oh and flatulence haha just walk out the room 😄

Ha ha. It feels just constant. I keep telling myself that it has no smell.... x

Keep telling yourself that and you will believe it ..just don't do it in public haha x

I’m nearly 10 weeks and my jeans are tight! One pair I can’t wear. I can def see a change in my work wear to and I have gone up a bra size! Oh the joys but I’m trying not to main lol. Xx

I look like I am about 4 months already. I have stopped wearing jeans now as walking round work with jeans undone was unattractive. I'm in dresses at the moment but putting on tights is a mission and brings on nausea in the morning ...I'm trying to hide it at work until it's announced after the scan but there is only so long I can blame it on my weight x

I’m not as bad yet but agree unbuttoned jeans aren’t sexy lol. It’s so hard I just love my pjs and would wear them all day if I could. I can’t bring myself to be anything maternity until I feel more confident. Good luck with the hiding xxx

I was the same as you, thought it was a bump but was mainly bloating. Believe me you will know when it’s a bump, I am now 22+5 weeks and have a proper bump, me and husband think it’s big bump but everyone else is like your tiny. It’s a struggle to put socks and that on now, I was in maternity clothes at 8weeks, didn’t see the point in buying bigger clothes, when needed to buy maternity anyway

I did think it could be bloating as it's huge. My mum said why don't you get some just for now clothes them maternity later..that's pointless I have gone to maternity straight away I struggle to put socks and tights on at the moment too. Hopefully it will go down a little as I look about 2 stone heavier x

Is this your first pregnancy? My bloating went down, then was definitely a baby bump, still do bloat after I’ve eaten a meal, which can be uncomfortable. Hate the bloated feeling x

I've just turned 12wks and from 6wks I was mega bloated and still am, I've tried all sorts to ease it but nothing works. I look way more pregnant than I should be and it's hard to hide it sometimes. X

Yea I had this problem, was so hard as didn’t tell anyone untill we had the scan, I just tried to avoid as many people as I could.

This is my first pregnancy and I was showing at a very early stage. I have the same situation where I can't buckle my pants at the early first trimester, like 5 weeks or something ridiculous. It is just my tummy but the rest of my body remains constant.

Later, now that I am 25 weeks, I think I know why. I have a massive placenta! And it is located between the tummy wall and the baby. It is so thick that I can't feel my baby kick until late 23 weeks. During our 22 weeks scan, the sonographer was reconfirming if I really can't feel the kick as the baby was active.

People around me just keep making comments that i am having twins. I just reply I have a massive placenta. A comfortable pillow to protect my little one <3. Our body does miracles. Like me, you might have a huge placenta and it's a way to protect your little one.

Sending good thought to you <3.

I was showing at 10 weeks with my first, went straight into maternity jeans until my belly bust out of them at 35 weeks! I have a very small frame and naturally quite slim so I wasn't suprised though.

I am 10 weeks 1 day and have been bloated from the beginning (to the point where I looked 4 months pregnant anyway) However we had IVF and at my 7 week scan the nurse said my ovaries were still very swollen so that may be why I feel so bloated. She also said it will likely last until 12 weeks. Any who, Im still bloated now and have had to wear 'under the bump' maternity jeggings as my jeans are all so uncomfortable.

Im just counting the days until our 12-13 week scan at the end of the month as its getting hard to hide now, especially at work!!

It’s bloating lol. I had it - you tend to show ‘real baby’ about 4-5 months and it’s only a tiny bump. By 7-8 months you’ll have a proper bump xx
