hello, i am currently 14 weeks and 5 days pregnant, its really bothering me that since week 11 i have had a noticeable bump, however the past couple of days it seems to look smaller sometimes, i measured it last weekend from my belly button and round and it was 34.5 inches i did it again the other day and its 33 inches i suffer from anxiety and its really worrying me i saw my friend the other day for the first time since I've been pregnant and she said she thought i had a perfect little bump she herself is currently 32 weeks pregnant
can anyone tell me if they have experienced a similar thing and whether its normal?

im 20 weeks and my bump fluctuates constantly. sometimes i look huge, other days i look tiny. its something to do with the fluids. so i wouldnt worry. it wont properly take shape for you yet. my midwife wont start measuring my bump until 25 weeks. suppose this is because baby starts filling out more then. so the bump will only grow. xx
Hi flossy, try not to worry, I'm 19 weeks and some days I have a very round small bump, but then some days it is gone! I think it's perfectly normal so don't worry.
Please try not to be anxious, at this stage of pregnancy you are likely to fluctuate wildly - I'm 15 weeks with my second and get bigger and smaller every day! Much of your 'bump' can be attributed to retaining fluid, bloating and even wind! If you're anything like me you'll be looking in the mirror everyday waiting for the big baby bump to appear and it will, just give it time 14 weeks is still early days and baby is growing every day.
If you are a natural worryer let your midwife know, mine are happy to talk through fears over the phone and check you over if they think its necessary.
I am 12 weeks on Sunday with my 3rd and I am still not showing. All the things I have read they say that I should be showing by now but everyone is different. I havent even got my scan for another 2 weeks so just really anxious to know that the baby is actually growing and nothing has happened ( I know I shouldnt think like that but I just cant help it).
