30 weeks pregnant and in constant pain.

Hi I'm currently 30 +1 weeks pregnant and with my miracle baby I was told I might not be able to have more due to scared tissue on my ovaries from cysts and operations, a weak cervix from loop biopsies.

I have had pain all the way through the pregnancy and I'm on the highest dose of codine phosphate possible, but these last few weeks have been horrific.

I don't even feel like I'm going to make it through the next 10weeks as I can't sleep and I spend so many hours a day crying in pain.

Has anyone else been through anything similar and how did you cope?

Aw hun I’ve not been through what you have but congratulations to you for getting so far ! I’m 31 weeks too, have they said they will keep an eye on you Hun or try and induce you early? Xx

Hi they are keeping an eye on me but won't discuss inducing me early as the pains I'm experiencing aren't causing any harm to the baby. My worry is I had tried to cut down my codine so my baby doesn't have withdrawals as it is a high possibility but now i have no choice but to take the max dose on 60mg 4 times a day to at least take the edge off.

Maybe when you discuss your birth plans hun they might say because of the pains and codiene you can have your little one earlier or not go over. X
