Not sure what you’ve tried already so apologies if I am duplicating anything.

Eat and drink little and often. Lots of people talk about having crackers first thing- some people have kept them at their bedside. I used to have a bite of an apple. I ate a lot of carbs- it was the food I could bear the most. I drank ginger ale too (it was very hot during my first trimester but you could try fresh ginger in boiling water).

If you can’t stomach anything, it is worth seeing your GP as there are medications to help with sickness and it’s important to keep well hydrated and nourished. Hopefully it will get better for you xxx

Oh poor you :( Lots of people only have it for the first trimester (up to 12 weeks) but some people are unlucky and have it longer. There are other medications out there so do try other ones out. Keep taking your vitamins (although I know the iron in the supplement can make people feel sick so important to take after food).

Would sucking sweets/mint help? Xxx

Fruit is what got me through the first trimester. Refreshing things like watermelon, grapes, raspberries, apple juice. Fizzy drinks too. Though not quite as healthy for the baby.

I believe the sickness is meant to peak at 10 weeks, but then it settles (though not for everyone!), I think due to your hormones settling a bit. Hopefully it'll be the same for you.

Good luck with the pregnancy :)

Great advice above.....Ginger ale and sweets from Holland & Barrett and also try a can of Coke I was so sick for 12 weeks couldn’t stomach anything. Went to the GP and got sickness tablets they helped. Try dry toast and as mentioned carbs do help.

I must be the unlucky one who still has this at 22 weeks lol. I have sickness tablets to help me as lost a lot of weight but try not to take as often as i should. I found cookies and melon have helped and plenty of bottles ice cold water. Hope you feel better soon x

Nope had same with last pregnanancy too. My hormones run really high when pregnant so causes lots of problems. I projectile vomit with or without meds and sometimes rupture my throat or stomach lining.

Oh it's the worst isn't it. I was on a drip for 2 days as I was so dehydrated and lost 10kg in 3 weeks. Iv never been so sick in my life. It's not as bad now but if i don't take a sickness tablet in the morning I'm projectile vomiting for days. Hope you feel better soon x

To be honest there’s no magical cure... you just have to ride the storm. I couldnt eat... threw up everything I ate to the point my throat was so sore... I would say drink lots of water... and try to eat whatever you can... xx
