First pregnancy jitter!

Hello, I’ve just found out I’m pregnant (for the first time!)

I must be around 6-7 weeks, according to the due date calculator! I rang my GP who said I need to self refer, which I have done!

I’m now waiting on an appointment but extremely nervous as my partner is a Cystic Fibrosis gene carrier and because baby was unplanned, I haven’t got round to having the test! Has anybody been in the same position or similar who can put my mind at ease?!

Thanks in advance, panick stricken first mum to be!

When you go for your booking in the midwife will ask all about you and your partners health and family related health. They will do tests from your anwsers. My cousin has Ehlers Danlos Syndrome I got tested when I had my first child to be sure.
