So me and my fiancè have been trying for a baby for a while now, he already has a son of his own but he wanted another. We've been trying for about 7 or 8months now and still nothing. I've been worried that we are doing something wrong as we have sex very often especially during ovulation days and still nothing, any tips on how to help us?

Trying for a baby
Have you tried ovulation sticks or are you just going by an app. If it’s just by an app I would give the sticks a go just to make sure the ovulation days are definitely right.
After a year you can go along to your GP and see if they will carry out some blood tests to see if there is anything causing it.
Good luck xx
I have but I think I took it on the wrong days I'm currently on a period atm so my next ovulation day will be due soon if I'm right?
If you regular 28 day cycles most women will.ovilate around day 14 from first day of period. Some woman ovulate differently. If you're irregular it's very hard to tell so ovulation sticks would be the best bet. Never used them personally but heard you can get a bunch from amazon for a good price
You can get a pack of 50 for around £5 on Amazon. I took one every afternoon from the end of my period right through my cycle, ovulation typically happens around 7 days after your period which is what apps base it on. Mine happens around day 9 so was missing it with the app, but I didn't know that until I had done the tests.
I know it's easy to say but just try not to stress about it! That was our problem. We were too worried about it never happening, that one of us was 'broken' etc etc.
After 12 months we went to the GP and started the process of fertility testing... A week after my first blood test - boom, BFP! I think going to the GP and knowing someone was looking into it just chilled me out and it just happened.
I know it's what everyone says but just relax, and enjoy the baby making process of it all! I used an app called 'Period Tracker: by Monthly Cycles' and you input your period days and your cycle length and it'll tell you when you're ovulating. But same as the others said - I used ovulation kits too, but silly me but the nice expensive ones - £30 a month! But really they just confirmed what the app said.
Keep at it and don't lose hope x
