12 week US showing as 6weeks 4 days.

Hiya,

I'm new to here but just wanted some reassurance, advice or just seeing if anyone else has been through this.

I went for my 12 weeks scan today, thinking I'm gonna be at least 9.5 pushing on 10 weeks. But came back as 6weeks and 4 days and could only see the yolk sac. The nurse did say for 6weeks it does look fine, but no visible heartbeat (maybe it is to early).

But looking back at my dates and guessing when I must have convinced it doesn't add up. I had two clear positive tests on 2nd June, which to this day is 7weeks and 4 days. I was a week late for my period so that means I should have been pregnant 2. 5 weeks weeks before that, meaning I should be at least 8.5/9 weeks. I've got an early pregnancy scan next week to see if it has developed anymore.

I'm just worried, I had a misscarriage last September at 8 weeks so I'm worried again that I got this far and it's stopped developing.

Just need to know if someone else has gone through similar situation.

I’ve just been for my 12w only measured 9w with no heartbeat my last mc I was measuring 6w no heartbeat. Did they say to come back in a week or two? I’ve got to go back to “make sure” but they know, I know my dates and for the size of it with no heartbeat it’s gone. I just want it over with quickly.

I'm so sorry to hear that.

I'm going back for an early pregnancy scan next Wednesday to see if it has grown and if the dates are correct from the scan I just had today.

It's just frustrating, I hate waiting and would rather know now what's going on. They couldn't see/hear a heartbeat on my scan, but said it could be too early to see or hear one. Looking back through calender to double check isn't helping me I think! Just terrified for my next scan and what the outcome will be...

Trying to remain positive, pretending I'm all okay but deep down I am terrified...

I have been in similar situation, I should have been in 8 weeks but at the scan was only a gestationl sac. I repeat the scan after one week( yesterday) and they confirmed a complete misscariage 😑....

Oh I'm so sorry to hear that! I'm remaining positive, but obviously the fear is always there!

I'm sad to say that I misscarried early hours this morning. I'm totally gutted and heartbroken. Thank you for the support. Will try again in the future.

It’s shit getting to 12W happened twice with me now. I’m currently miscarrying now it’s awful.

Is this your second too?
