I am 8.5weeks and am really suffering mainly in the evening.

I had sickness everyday with my two previous pregnancy’s and know this will be no different has anyone been prescribed anti sickness tablets abs do they help ?

Yes I had cyclizine with my last pregnancy and now ondansetron as cyclizine was not working however. They will probably try avoid putting you on them if your only being sick anyone.point in the day. I was throwing up over 30 times a day. Everything I ate or drank I was throwing up half of it. I'm. Nearly 17 weeks and usually sickness has abated by 12 weeks. You can go to your gp midwife will only tell you to go gp anyway And you can ask it can't hurt too but they may be reluctant. I was hospitalised 3 times last pregnancy which was only reason my gp didn't argue about giving me meds this time

From lunchtime onward I can’t keep anything down , lost 3lb already :(( it’s just the fact I know it wont go away ..

In lost 11 lb in 3 weeks . It can't hurt to see your gp and ask its what I did. Good luck xx

I had it all way through with my second was on medication all way through , im nearly 17 weeks and still on medication for it now and probaby will be till this one is born.

Yes it depends on what the prescribed sometimes you need a stronger antisickness my GP but me on Cyclizine but i was still being sick all the time. The hospital moved me onto Ondansetron, but eve with that im still being sick occasionally, but thats still better than i was as i couldnt go an hour without being sick while awake

Try ginger gem sweets from Holland & Barrett and they also do a strong ginger beer it’s about £5. Have a glass a days I found they both helped and gave me energy! Worth a try as no harm with the tablets to have ginger products. I think the stronger and more natural the ginger the better. Also could add pure ginger to a smoothie or food - helped me! Good luck x
