Hello. I am 7+1 today and I think I've had morning sickness. Whilst brushing my teeth I vomited up a bright yellow liquid. Is this morning sickness? I've been really wanting morning sickness as some security that I'm pregnant. Now that I think I had it I need some reassurance. Please let me know if you think this is morning sickness.

Is morning sickness bright yellow?
Hi yes it is often yellow (fluid from the bile). Do eat little and often. Good luck x
Sounds like bile - I imagine you had an empty stomach so that was all that came up. It's also common to feel nausea but not actually bring anything up. I'm glad you're feeling reassured and seeing a bright side to the sickness xxx
Yes I'm 11 and half weeks and was sick yesterday for the first time. It was yellow. Ginger is helpful. If it gets really bad, your GP/Doctor can prescribe you anti-sickness medication. All the best with your pregnancy xx
Yep.. bright yellow like egg yolk.... came up many of times in the side alley of my office 😂😂
Thats bile, not related to morning sickness as such everyone can bring up bile its the yellow acidic stuff basically at the bottom of your stomach when theres nothing left to be sick
Morning sickness isn't a particular type of vomit. It can come in the form of nausea, vomiting, and some ladies don't experience anything at all. I found in my first trimester, brushing teeth was the easiest way to make me start to heave in the mornings! I know so early on you want every bit of reassurance you can get, sounds like morning sickness is beginning to me (unless you normally feel this way which hopefully you don't!) All the best with your pregnancy x
I was bad for bringing up bile. It is mainly due to an empty stomach. Try and avoid acidy food/drinks at night. Keep some dry biscuits or something next to your bed to have before you get up. Ginger biscuits were recommended as it helps settle the stomach although I don't like ginger so I had saltine crackers. Hopefully, your sickness doesn't carry on throughout the pregnancy! Keep hydrated too!
