Has anyone else had morning sickness (i.e. all day sickness) disappear for about 10 days then come back stronger than ever?
I am almost 11 weeks. MS started lightly around 6 weeks, then was really bad between 8 & 9 weeks then went suddenly. Now its back when I thought I should be starting to really feel better! Grr...

Hi Katrina, its horrible isn't it!?! I had horrendous sickness nearly all day and through the night from about 2 weeks tight upto 17-18 weeks. I'm now 20 weeks and I only get it when I'm really really hungry.
I was signed off work a number of times as I really struggled with it, if you seriously can't keep anything down, you need to see your midwife /doctor as they will want to monitor you and baba are getting everything you need. If you seem to be able to keep certain things down, forget the whole only eat healthy stuff for a little while, and get it down your neck! I completely went off nearly all meat, but keeping cheese and chicken nuggets down was ok.
I found, getting up very gradually, having a stash of ginger biscuits/cereal bars by your bed for when you get up helped, and to munch on rice cakes nearly constantly. I also quite like the ginger and lemongrass cordial by a company called bottlegreen. Ginger seems to help it a little. Also, you are worse when tired and stressed, so try to make sure you sleep plenty.
Most importantly, as nasty and disgusting as you feel, it means your hormone levels are really high and that's a good sign generally. Your baba us just reminding you its there and ok.
Hello - sounds like you had it rough! I haven't actually been sick at all and to be honest am not worried about the nausea itself as I can deal with it.
My concern is the fact that it completely disappeared for a week then came back. Is this normal?
It has taken me 3 years, 3 surgeries and 2 IVF's to get pregnant so I am worried about everything!
Mine disappeared for two weeks at 14 weeks and then came back with force! It did get better as my pregnancy progressed but I was still being sick on average 2-3 days a week until I delivered. But 2-3 days a week somehow felt manageable compared to what it was. It's horrendous at the time but now I have my baby it's given me better perspective... this will pass eventually. xxx
Hi there. Its normal for symptoms to come and go. Also, the placenta takes over at some point just before second trimester begins so alot of your hormones are balancing out but every woman is different and as I said things come and go so dont worry xxx
Thanks. My boobs aren't hurting anywhere near as much either now, so I am thinking (hoping) that my hormones are starting to level now. I am currently 11+1.
I am 6months and had nausea in the first 3 months then random sickie days until now, including 2weeks ago when I had to jump out a car to be sick on a 4minute journey. I haven't found a pattern except I don't seem to feel sick if I eat loads... And drink plenty of orange juice.
