Used a doppler

I have a friend that is pregnant and she has a doppler so for a laugh I thought I'd dive it a go to see if i could hear owt and omg I'm sure I heard another heartbeat!! My friend heard it too not sure if its my mind playing tricks bit I seem to be gettin alot of symptoms too got docs tomorrow to see what's happening losing my mind!!

Ask them to your bloods, urine doesn’t always detect if you’re pregnant straight away. Good luck and keep us up dated xx

Can I hear a heartbeat yet?? And yesterday I felt really light headed and sicky xxx

You can sometimes hear the blood pumping through your veins with it.

Dopplers can’t pick up heartbeats till about 16 weeks which is when the midwives start using them. Sometimes can pick up a feotal heartbeat after 10 weeks if you are lucky.

Foetal heartbeats develop after 6 to 7 weeks

It’s most likely your blood pumping it sound rhythmic and can be mistaken. A fetal heartbeat is more of a definitive sound and much faster than your own x
