well sometime pain is perfectly normal as your body is going through drastic changes especially if its your first baby but all pain should be discussed with your healthcare providor just to be safe. Im on my 3rd pregnancy and im only about six weeks but have pelvic pain and cramps, i get cramps everytime and im sure my pelvic pain (which is around my vagina) is because i had terrible spd in my last pregnancy which never fully resolved

Hi Jessie, my aches and cramps stopped suddenly too about 4 month mark. I was really worried (this is my first) so went to midwife who said it was normal at this point as the baby's position has gotten higher so pressure wasn't on my lower bits so much (And apparently her appointment before me had had exactly same concern). We listened for a heartbeat which came through really strongly and put my mind at rest. If you're worried I'd go see your midwife.

Ring the midwifery unit of your local hospital they will be able to advise, though if your in britain its odd you dont have a midwife at 4 months you should have had one assigned before you got your 12 weeks scan
