I am 4 weeks pregnant and experiencing really intense cramps! Has anyone else experienced/ is experiencing this ?

Hi, I had the exact same at around 4 weeks, it’s what made me do a test! Went to the doctors and had an early scan at 6 weeks to check everything was ok which it was! Mine wore off at about 7 weeks so hopefully yours won’t be too bad!! If your worried get to the docs but I was told it’s normal, just stretching hope it’s all ok X

I had very bad cramps at about 5 weeks. Maybe for a day or so. As long as there is no bleeding, you should be ok. But go and see your GP if concerned.

I'm not sure whether my cramps were implantation or the uterus starting to stretch. Either way I was fine in the end.

I've had this for the past three weeks or so but have been told that as long as it's not too intense and there's no bleeding then it's just your body adjusting and adapting to pregnancy. If there's any blood or the cramping is severe and unbearable then I'd definitely speak to your doctor as soon as possible, otherwise I wouldn't worry x

I have it too and I’m 5 weeks. Mine come and go but have been told it’s the uterus stretching and completely normal

I had cramping/period pain for quite a few weeks in the first trimester. I'm now 32+5 with our healthy rainbow boy 😁! Like AlexandriaD said, it's your uterus stretching, it's normal :)! Wishing you all the best! x

I had this with my first and I thought there was something wrong with me I nearly past out with the pain on the toilet I had done a test and was negative so thought it was something else went to the Doctors had to do a poop sample as I’d done test they didn’t think to do another came back clear, 6 weeks later I thought I’d test again I was pregnant 11 weeks.
