What is this pain and discomfort?

I'm 37+2 days. This is my 3rd child, but my youngest is 11 this year. I have been experiencing really bad aches and pains in my lady area

When you say in, where do you mean? Frontal pubis bone? Cervix?

It's mainly in between my legs around my vagina. Not really any pains in or around my pubis bone x

I think its the feelings of the baby's head engaging.

Im nearly 31 wks with my 2nd child & ive being feeling a very simular sort of pain between my legs ( around about the sides of vagina)

Thanks ladies. I thought the end was near. I just didn't want it to be my wishful thinking. Both my last pregnancies went over the due date. But this pregnancy has been different from the start. My bump were measuring 40cm last week and I've had some lower back ache too. Hope the pain subsides soon xx

Third babies are unpredictable! My first two were both a week early and my newest was 3 days late! Maybe other way round for you xx

I am 37 weeks and my 3rd. I have been experiencing the same for the last three weeks. Checked at 34 weeks shows that baby is engage. It's just a waiting game.

It may not be the same but I have HORRENDOUS inner thigh pain which starts in the groin area, only on the left. I also suffer with SPD & instability in my SI joint of Hip. All this started happening when baby dropped. I am 39 wks tomorrow xx

Bless you all who are struggling. Hopefully our little bundles will be with us soon and the pain will go. Mine feels like a little dwarf is gripping onto my lady bits and just hanging there. I have never had that happen but it's what I would imagine it would feel like lol xx
