Alongest you getting treatment and care from your physician is good, you should not worry about it.
Can I ask if they following you up with further blood tests? Elevated glucose indicates possible diabetes... but you normally don't have just a one off reading to diagnose it (unless you had symptoms)
They usually carry out glucose testing at week 28 to see whether you have/risk developing gestational diabetes.
Do you know if you have diabetes in the family? It might mean that you have to follow a diet plan during pregnancy.
I think the reason gestational diabetes is a risk is because it can result in you having a really big baby, which obviously causes a whole other set of complications.
Since you have elevated glucose now it's perhaps a good idea to watch what you're eating. So maybe avoid fruit juice (a lot of sugar) and stick to complex carbs so brown rice etc.
Try not to worry, the doctors know what they're doing. My friend developed gestational diabetes and she said it wasn't much fun avoiding certain foods, but I guess we all cut things out in pregnancy so just think of it as being another sacrifice for the health of your little baby
Good luck with the pregnancy!
