Severe pain

Hi, I'm 6wks pregnant with my first and I've been getting really bad cramping on my lower left side. I use to get these around my periods but they didn't last long, but since I found out I was pregnant its constant but very mild and manageable, I went to the doctors who sent me to early pregnancy unit to make sure I wasn't having an ectopic pregnancy. Luckily it all seemed fine but too early to see baby properly and I have to go back in a week for another scan. Today I have been suffering with severe pain in the same area and every time I move it's so bad it instantly brings me to tears and the pain won't go, this Is the worst it has ever been. Has anyone else gone through these pains?

Did they see, a, sac in the, uterus? I'm guessing they did if all seemed fine.

If your in so much pain hun contact health professionals you shouldn't, be in that much pain. Xxx

Yeah she showed me the yolk sac. She said I was at a cross roads and that's why I have to go back to make sure it's going to right direction.

Hello. I went to A+E as the pain got too much. I had blood and urine tests and all came back clear. So they now think it could be cysts. I could of stayed in over night only to manage the pain and to try and get me in for a scan tomorrow but it wasn't guaranteed and could have to come back another day, so I've come home with pain relief and I need to contact the early pregnancy unit and ask if they can bring my scan forward. It's all very stressful as being my first I have no idea what I'm meant to be feeling or what pains and aches to expect. But thank you for your replies xx

Hello, yeah it's not too bad they have given me codeine to help. And they have moved my scan to tonight so hopefully they can figure out what's wrong. Xx

Hi Hun, I had the same thing with my second child, I had a scan at 6,8 and 11 weeks and all is fine. I am now 30 weeks. Although they couldn’t find a reason for the pain I would definitely recommend trying to get your scan brought forward even if it just gives you peace of mind. I hope all goes well x

Hello :-). Baby is fine and we even saw a heartbeat today so I'm now 6wks+2. They couldn't see anything on my ovaries so they don't think it's cysts. I have a doctors appointment Thursday so I'll have to see what they do next. The pain has eased off but I think thats from painkillers. But just happy baby is fine. Xx

Thank you very much. Now I just have to deal with toilet issues thanks to these tablets I've been given. But its a huge weight lifted and fingers crossed it carries on to be a healthy baby xx
