5 weeks pregnant...

i just found out im pregnant and im over the moon with joy. but before i found out i was getting really bad cramps like intense period pains that i would usually get with periods. it only lasted a few days now its just normal cramps and aches. i just wanted to know if this is normal. im just over paranoid. i really want a scan but i no its too early.

Hi Hun the mild cramps is your body adjusting and stretching making room for the 9 months !! Congratulations on your baby too..

Now you know your pregnant just take all vitamins required and look out for severe cramps and blood but it’s not always bad as some women have both and baby Is ok ! All the best xx

Congrats Hun. It's true what Sisi says.

I rushed to A&E at the beginning of this year as I found out that was pregnant last year and was over the moon. However I saterted bleeding and had severe cramps on my lower abdomen. They did a scan to rule out an atopic pregnancy as I had a temperature as well. Got really scar d cause I didn't want to be operated right then. Also was given a blood test while I waited for the scan. I was told that I had an empty sac and my hormone levels were not high enough to be 6 weeks pregnant. Was referred to the early pregnancy unit for more scans in a week. At the EPU had 6 scans and was adviced that my body will naturally get rid of it. I regret stop taking vitamins and not eating healthy as I now have my 13 weeks miracle lying in bed next to me after a feed.

Darling don't worry and take good care of yourself as cramps and aches are normal however if they get to severe that you can hardly walk or have a temperature just walk into your nearest A&E and describe your symptoms to them and they will do a scan and tests for you.
