What can we use for thrush?
To be on the safe side I would chat to the pharmacist and get their recommendation. Hope it clears soon x
Canasten external cream is fine, just not the tablet! It does say on the packaging to check with GP first I think, I was advised to use it by nurses at clinic (where I had IVF).
I also found sudo cream quite soothing if you have any that and you could use that until you see your GP Monday xxx
When i was going through IVF they advised to use canasten cream, just do not use the pessary x
You can use the cream for now. GP can prescribe pessary but they advise you to only insert part way in, you cannot take the oral tablet though. I have had the pessary in all 3 pregnancies.
A nurse told me to buy good old fashion traditional sheep or goats yoghurt and insert some into my vagiba. Rub some like cream and eat the rest.
Cut out on what feeds the fungus like sugar and yeasts and food poor on wholegrain flour.
Canesten contains lactic acid hust like the yoghurt. But is cheaper and healthier to use. It is what your body craves.
Don't drink actimel as they too contain lots of sugar!!
Good luck
