So today after being on the phone to the doctors for them to tell me I’m going to be a mum and I’ve had to wait all last month just to find out.. so rang the midwife today and I’m 6 weeks pregnant.when do you go for your first scan?

How did you have to wait a month to find out but you're only 6 weeks... Confused... As really it's not really possible to know before 4w (maybe slightly before) aka when you miss a period.

First scan is done around 12 weeks. Midwife normally sees you before around 8-12 weeks for booking appointment

I did a test on the 3rd September and it came back positive but I wasn’t aware that my doctors was closinv for repair...so I found out today and the midwife said I have to ring them back on the 25th or 28th of this month

Your dates are calculated from the first day of your last period not the day you test positive. So try remember when your last period has and that will be how far you are
