Delay periods?

Hi everyone,on June 7th 2017 I delivered my first baby boy,after delivery 2 months I was regular in my periods in this month 12 days up u have taken my hcg rest at home it was negative.i was always regular so plz suggest me what would I do now ?

Are you breastfeeding? After giving birth and while breastfeeding your periods might not be regular and some women don't have periods at all for some time. If you don't want to get pregnant, I would suggest contraception as breastfeeding doesn't give you 100% protection. If you are worried about your missing periods speak with your health visitor or gp.

I think it's a bit early to expect your periods to come back to 100% regular, esp if you are breast feeding. I had no period for 14months.

However as mentioned earlier if you are having periods even if breastfeeding you can't rely on it for contraception, so if you don't want to get pregnant and are sexually active get your contraception sorted

No I'm not on breastfeeding,well yesterday my periods come☺ and what do u mean by contraception? U mean do I take shots for gap ?or medicine or?

Contraception can be various forms from condoms to pills to implants. Different types are suitable for different people and they have different success rates. I would suggest seeing your GP or a family planning clinic to get something sorted out if you don't want another pregnancy so soon
