Hi ladies,I did the pregnancy test and it was two line red .I called the GP,they give an appointment after 3 weeks.that means I wil be in the week 5.

It is normal to get an appointment after 3 weeks or because MY GP is crowdly?

It depends on your GP availability but the GP normally just goes through some very basic questions makes sure you're taking your pre natal vitamins, not smoking, drinking etc and refer to

Midwife who won't see you before week 8-12. I never saw my GP for either pregnancy as self referred to midwife. The NHS choices website is very good for pregnancy information

Sound normal, as long as you have time for your 8 week appointment to be booked. To be fair, my 8 week appointments have been around week 10 both times!

Nice guidelines say you need a booking appointment ideally before 10 weeks so you are lucky to be seen earlier. They don't monitor you regularly in the beginning but it picks up later.

You should be taking a pregnancy vitamin (in case you didn't know)
