Implant removal

I had my implant removed 5 weeks ago and still haven't had a period. I've had unprotected sex with my partner regularly. Could I be pregant? Or is it normal not to have a period for so long Thanks

Yes but not regular ones. When I had my first implant in I didn't have periods for 3 years when it was removed I had a period about 2 weeks after. I had this implant in for a year and half and had periods through out

I was the same with irregular periods with the implant in and out!! Its different with everyone isn't it,,i read and got told different things,that the hormone that the implant releases stays in your body for up to 12 months others said that it comes out of your body straight away!

Personally with me it took me 12 weeks to get pregnant after having the implant in for the whole 3 years! Which I thought was fast! Xx

Also I didn't have a period for the first month after the implant being removed Xx

Well the doctors say your body goes back to normal straight away. I've tried reading up on it but everything different. I don't want to say I'm trying but if it happens it's a good thing. I'll just leave it a few weeks and if I don't get a period I'll do a test

It could be both reasons. You either haven't had enough time for your body to get back to normal as there are still hormones in your body and its takes a while to get back into cycles or you got pregnant in the mean time

Its possible i fell pregnant right away
