4th and scariest

Hi all, I'm currently pregnant with my 4th and although I've done it 3 times already, Labour seems to be the one thing I can't not think about. I used gas and air with my other children but I'm thinking of the tens machine, has anyone used this????

I have actually been looking into these for this labour. I am terrified after my first but trying to be calm and think I know what I am doing this time. I have heard good things about tens machines for early labour and read lots of reviews. I will probably hire one!

I used one through my 56 hour labour with my first I really liked it I had that and nothing else

I hired one... It was ok at first but when I got to 5cm I asked for an epidural... Whimp I know. Gas and air just got me dizzy but gave me no pain relief.

I think you just need to get informed of the options pros & cons of each and you can change your mind if things aren't working. However I thought it gets easier and quicker the more children you have

The tens machine helped at the beginning and then just annoyed me when the contractions really kicked in. I went for the epidural and it was amazing!

Didn't find it helpful just irritating

I wouldn't try it again in my next labour but everyonebus different 💕
