Aldi nappies?

I'm approaching the end of my first pregnancy and thinking about the various products out there. I've heard that aldi nappies are great and just as good as premium brands but just wanted to check if anyone had used them with their baby. If so, are they just as good?

my friend raves about aldi's stuff, thou she hasn't used the nappies, can only say buy a pack and see what u think, u have got me thinking now, might get her to get me a pack x

I have heard Aldis stuff is great but so far my favourite this time around (my boy is 9 weeks old) are Asda's own. They, for me, are so much better than bigger named brands. They dont leak and are a great fit and best of all the price is absolutely brilliant. My health care visitor also recommended asda's own baby care product line and I have to say I switched from an expensive big named brand to asda's line after a few weeks and my son's skin has really benefited from this (so as my pocket!)

I'll definitely get Aldi's nappies again as i used them with my first son.they are similar to Huggies and much cheaper!x

I love most of Aldi's product in general but i never bought the nappies for my 1st child. I'll definetely consider them as every penny counts these days.

Hi Smile123, I have been thinking about this as well and have been told by so many new mothers that Asda's little angels are amazing and just as good as the big brands. I have been stocking up on them ever since. As far as I can remember the new arrival nappies which are for babies between 6lbs and 13 lbs are £3.19 for 42

Our little'un is 9 weeks old, and even though we've got a load of Pampers in the house that my mother insisted on buying for us when she discovered to her horror that we were planning on using supermarket nappies, we panic when we come close to running out of Aldi nappies as we know that our son in a Pampers nappy is a messy leak waiting to happen. We've also found Tesco's to be superior to Aldi. However, I know people who have had the opposite experience. I suspect that which brand is best for your baby has more to do with your baby's shape than the quality of the product, and I've been told by parents of older children that they found they needed to switch brands when sizing up. I'd suggest you start out with something cheap you know you can get easily (if your nearest Aldi is a 30 minute drive away that's not going to be very helpful when you're a frazzled new mum), and then experiment with other brands if you find you're getting frequent leaks, bearing in mind that no nappy will ever be completely leak-free. And of course with any brand, remember: ruffles out and (if you have a boy) willy down!

sorry, I mistyped when I said that Tesco's were superior to Aldi's--we found them to be superior to Pampers, and as good as Aldi's but harder to get for us, as there's no Tesco in our town.

We love tesco and asda nappies but really don't like sainsburys they leak and male the baby smell like wee. It's a trial and error thing out little girl was tiny when she was born so had to be in size 0 nappies. Supermarket nappies are just as good. My friend raves about aldi nappies and I know they are one of the Cheapest on the market. Hope this helps and good lucky

I have used Aldi nappies for over a year for little girl who is now 2 and have to say they are much more absorbent and leak less than other supermarkets that I have used. They also have the advantage of being about £1 cheaper (not much I know but every little helps ). We used asda recently and they didnt last as long and leaked more. A note about baby wipes too, I prefer aldi's they are bigger and stronger than Asdas, Asda's fell apart and were smaller.

I tried them with my lb who is nearly 30 months but he leaked in them but he has done that with most nappies. The only ones i found for him not to leak are asdas little angels nappies but every child is different. I am currently 37+6 with baby number 3 and i have bought some aldi nappies to try has they were on offer.

I've used aldi nappies and found them to be just as good as any other brand.

I have used washables and Aldi. The Aldi ones were the best disposables I have used.

Aldi nappies and wet wipes are excellent, definitely recommend both xx
