Hurting hips
Hey when you say hips do you mean pelvis ? If so same thing happened to me with my first pregnancy around that time so i contacted my midwife and went hospital they gave me a pregnancy belt to help realise pressure which kinda helped
I bought a maternity belt online for about 4 pounds. It really helps during the day.
Hi Natalie,
Poor you, hat a downer!
My panacea for my hips (just entered week 40): take the weight off your legs and hips by spending time on all fours as much as possible. The most relief I feel when from position on all fours, I let my arms fold in front of me on the floor and rest my head on my hands. Thus, with my hips up in the air (my knees on the floor underneath them), I can gently move myself backwards, forwards, sideways and the hips get a great relief.
Are you still working? That would complicate matters as you probably find you can't take as many breaks as you need.
I just gave a rather lengthy answer from my experience to Miss-slinky at her question from 2 hours ago about the same question as yours, if you want to have a look.
Good luck and let us know how you get on!
I've just seen your post sorry - I've literally posted the same thing this morning! I hope you manage to get some relief from it and if you do - please let me know any tips as my hips are really starting to hurt
Hope you get some relief soon x
